
PAINT CORRECTION
Paint correction is the physical use of polishing products and tools to remove imperfections like swirls, scratches and haze from a vehicle’s paint, and restore the paint’s clarity and gloss. Depending on a client’s wishes and the thickness of paint on the vehicle, paint correction is done in upwards of four stages. The common term is often referred to as “paint polishing”.
ONE-STAGE
One-Stage
- Removes light scratches and haze in paint in one single stage
- 60% or better clarity restored
- Ideal for newer cars, daily drivers and cars with thin paint thickness
TWO-STAGE
Two-Stage
- Consists of compounding and polishing stages
- Removes surface imperfections and restores clarity upwards of 90%
MULTI-STAGE
Multi-Stage
- Consists of sanding, compounding, polishing & jeweling stages
- Removes upwards of 99% imperfections from vehicle’s paint
- Ideal for collector cars
Each package includes the following:
- Exterior wash, paint decontamination & clay bar
- Paint thickness measured prior to polishing and throughout the paint correction process
- Water etching & paint oxidation removal
- Hood, doors and trunk jams cleaned, interior/exterior glass cleaned
- Wheels, wheel barrels, tires & wheel wells thoroughly cleaned & tires dressed
- High-end polymer sealant applied to paintwork (if not choosing ceramic coating)
